On October 1, 2008 in Portland, there is a "Go Green" conference to assist businesses in becoming green. GoGreen’08 will be held at the Gerding Theater at The Armory in The Pearl District from 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Seattle does have a Green Festival each year. Last year’s was in April.
